Thunder Perfect Mind is a curation of essays, interviews, and art devoted to the Goddess, and inspired by the animist view of nature that psychedelics reveal. It was born of an observation by author and Rolling Stone reporter Cassady Rosenblum: due to the explosion of plant medicine, more and more people are having unexpected encounters with the divine. Some of these trips happen beyond the realm of gender, or even form. Yet when they do take form, as Rosenblum has documented, many people aren’t meeting God, but specifically the Goddess. This is a shocking discovery for many Westerners, who haven’t had a conscious relationship with her for a few thousand years. Yet despite the systematic erasure of her temples and her names, she has never left us. And now, at our moment of greatest ecological need, she is bursting through the collective unconscious again. Thunder Perfect Mind is a cultural experiment: What happens if we treat psychedelic content as meaningful not just for the individual, but for the whole?
Thunder Perfect Mind is published by Cassady Rosenblum and distributed by Ayin Press.
